The bin/cue works on the emulator, but my PS won’t read the CD after I burn it… (my PS is chipped, I ripped the game from my burned copy, which works) Does anyone know how I can get it to work on my PS?

I’ve run into another freezing glitch. I previously ran into the Midgard one and that was solved by patching my own iso. But now when Mint tries to heal the Yggdrasil tree with the Unicorn Horn, it freezes right after the “explosion” happens. I’m assuming there’s another FMV there that I can’t manage to skip.

It’s an odd kind of freeze too, unlike the Midgard glitch. There’s still sound playing, sounds like wind blowing or whatnot, but nothing ever appears on the screen.

Please tell me there’s a way to fix this…

I had never played this game on the PSX, used to play it on the Snes, but never finish it Know I discover this wonderful version (psx) and in english!!! Thanks guys!

I managed to get it work on 7. Though mine is just an evaluation copy so I don’t know if that’s the reason why it worked.

I’m glad you managed to get it to work. If I ever get around to upgrading to W7, I’ll look into it. So thank you for bringing it to our attention either way. Sorry that I didn’t respond earlier, I just didn’t have any kind of solution.

First off, thanks a ton for the translation!

I have two questions though:
1) Would memory card files from the original JP game (or the tales-cless patch) work with this interchangeably?
2) Has anyone had any luck getting the patcher to work in vista or seven? I’m running windows 7 right now and it always crashes (after the expanding part but right when the patching starts). I’m not patching an already patched image, it’s the original image of the game (MD5 confirmed as well). I tried running in compatibility mode but it still crashes. Any help? Can the patch be used with another tool?
