Anyway, I have to say Tales of Destiny is one of my favorites Tales of all time. I really want to play TOD:DC ( Leon’s Side … *drools* ) but I don’t know japanese … I even hacked Leon in the first position in the PSX version, so I could have some “Leon’s Side” play myself xP
Stupid, I know, but it was pretty fun ( I have a thing for “temporary characters ).
fair enough, is there any window of time you believe that this may be finished? i know it’s “done when it’s done” but you must have some idea to how long the rest will take, trillions of unasian people would love to get their hands on your masterpiece of a translation.

Okay though this is sad discussion my favorite unevolved electric pokemon would have to be Zapdos. You cant say thats cheating since it has no evolution form =P
What’s so wrong with it? TOI Discussions can get old after quite some time since it’s only a game, and you can only say so much about one thing at a time, so this is something for us to have fun with and pass the time until the patch is released, so quit being a friggin poor sport ppl and just play along or if you don’t want to then don’t be a jackass and ruin it for everyone else.

You know, you shouldn’t be making broken promises and keep our hopes high. Its gonna be February in a day or so. If you can’t finish by January, just don’t say you’re gonna finish it yet.

@BX: The only thing that I’ve promised is that it’s going to be done eventually. I’ve said we’re getting close, which is absolutely true. It’s precisely because I can’t predict the future that I didn’t give a date when it would be done. It’s not going to be done in January, that’s for sure. And it won’t be done in February since we still have the beta testing ahead of us once everything else it done. Yes, it’s taking a while, but that’s just how it is. I’m not going to cut any corners after coming this far.
But I thought that you don´t need beta tester (because you said sth. from beta testing) and I don´t think that thta will take one month.
I believe that it would take 30-50 h
Beta testing is more than playing the game once… Nobody who completes their part of the beta testing work in just a few days is going to do the kind of testing we want.
So if I’m not mistaken, if EVERYTHING goes great as it has been going, then things will be done sometime maybe mid February, or early March. If that’s the case, if we give beta testing at least a month or 2 (maybe more or less since I will not pretend to have a clue how long this will take) then we can expect the game in late March to late April, sometime between there.
Note this is just an estimation I have come up with after basing on the current progress listed up there, compared to the progress listed on the 16th. Since things are nearly done, I’m just estimating translation to be another month, please understand that I am not saying this WILL happen. For all we know, something could go wrong and we won’t see the game released in public until like October. But the above is what I HOPE will happen, it’s up to time to determine if that will be a reality or not. Please tell me if I’m at all mistaken.

forget the beta test, i dont care about it nor want it, when its ready just release it how it is, w’l play it anyway, if something is wrong fix it after, just no test and just release it

Beta testing is a pretty crucial part of the patch. Nobody wants to have to repatch with 1.1 only one day after release because of game breaking glitches in the most random place.
